Scabbard of Keen Edges

This ornate, jeweled scabbard is a prize in itself, but is priceless to a swordsman. The scabbard magically enhances any sword sheathed within it, granting the weapon a keen edge unparalleled by mortal craft.

• Keen Edge (DEADLY STRIKE) -- The bonus applies only after paying 1 drain to activate the item, and only affects the last sword placed in the scabbard.

Longclaw

This grand-masterwork longsword was forged of Valaryian steel by the legendary Hawkstone as a reward to the Battlesinger Aerandire for fighting to save the Hold. The single-edged blade is long and thin, straight as an arrow and patterned with the folded steel watermark of Hawkstone's hammer. The blade is crafted of solid adamantium, and the spine thick and strong to parry the strongest of blows. Longclaw is nearly indestructible.

The blade was custom crafted to fit Aerandire's hand, and only Aerandire can wield it to its full power. At the end of a horn-like spiral grip, the heavy pommel counterbalances the javelin-like blade perfectly for throwing. The weapon is fashioned with tines to disarm a foe. [ more... ]

Talon

This ancient, well-crafted damascus blue-steel longsword has an unusually thin blade. Fine feathers are etched in the hilt, and a singular star sapphire is set in the pommel. Talon is a lordly weapon of power forged and wielded by the Ithil'Rhi long ago, but is now lost in the hoard of a dire mountain troll. [ more... ]
