Arnath Valeg is an inquisitor priest of Pyrose whose current quest is to destroy the Ebon Staff of the Serpentmother. Arnath is often sent by his order to troubleshoot problems. His skill as an empath and diplomat have made him indispensible in this role and he has been gifted with followers. His constant companion is the fighting cleric Gohanan.
Arnath was trained at the Institute for Independant Magics in Aquila under the tutelage of the scholars and adepts there. He came from a devout family, and he retained that faith during appreticeship, but soon after, he was called to service by what he believed to be a fiery angel of Pyrose. He gained employ at the temple in Aquila, and was later ordained. His magic is therefore, separate from his vocation.
