Aside from Aegis, Alahan is the most important city in Alornea. Alahan is a vital source of supply and stronghold on the Silvertine River, marshaling grain, timber, and iron to Aegis. These resources also flow from Kitania, but redundant supply lines are crucial with the ubiquitous fighting in Alglondor.

The knights of Alahan are renowned for their horsemanship, and engage in a friendly rivalry with Kitanian knights.
